very nice, on a black car, look into smoking the hood...looks 100x better because it brings out the blackness of the CF. Raw Carbon fiber looks so brown. Just my opinion...but overall, very nice.

agreed. smoking that CF hood will match and be soothing to the eye... and also classy.... the car looks FABULOUS~!!!

Matt,

Looking really badass, looks like it fit great as well.

I agree with others you should have the hood clear smoked. This looks best with black NSXes.

You will retain the carbon fiber look, yet at angles or from distance the color will appear to be black rather than brown to match rest of the car. Not expensive to do, easy in and out job.

Is this a VIS NSX R hood ??
How does the weight compare to the stock hood.
And, of course, what is your opinion on the quality and fitment of this hood compared to the OEM one. Was it just a matter of removing your old hood and just screw this one on or did you have to do more to get it nice and flush with the fenders and front bumper ??

Question about the smoked option.... I have the same hood on a Black car and your right, it looks brown at certain angles. Do you use a tinted clearcoat? Is it sold like that or do you have to have it mixed?

How about this Odenspike ?

BlKeVil - Get back to work, you dont have time to be hijacking people's threads when you have a car to put back together, namely mine

Looks really good, how much weight have you saved over stock between the c/f wing and hood? I agree on smoking the hood, it'd look even better like that.

Matt,

As Jason has suggested, you should bring your hood and wing to MV Designz in Santa Ana.

Here's the info again:

I love the look of the hood! Is that the VIS hood from SOS? Please post more pictures when and if you get the hood smoked?

Thanks,
