I have had very bad dealings with Fiber Images, so beware.
At the August 2001, Seattle Import Revolution Car Show, i won "Best Engine" sponsored by Fiber Images, and the prize for that catagory was a free carbon fiber hood. Of course with my luck, the car i won it with was my drag race integra with a fiberglass 1 piece front end. So i talked with the fiber image guys and asked if i could take one for either my AE86 corolla/toureno or for my NSX. they said they would not do the ae86 because the car is old and isnt produced anymore, but they were working on a nsx hood with vents for someone they were sponsoring. so i decided on the NSX hood. they told me that i would have to wait awhile because they were busy cranking out honda hoods and other stuff, and will have to get to it later. i figured, heck, for a free hood i'll be patient. anyways, 1 year later, they told me that i CANT have a NSX hood now, and i probably wont even get a integra hood (that i could sell to pay for the NSX hood). I've called the people from Vision Entertainment (the Hot Import Nights People) and they wont do anything, even though they said they would because Fiber Images is making them look bad by not delivering what they promised.
I'm planning at the next Hot Import Nights show, to purchase a SoS Carbon hood by then, and then pass out flyers describing the whole ordeal in detail with the names of the people that did not help me out at Fiber Images. And to recomend NOT to purchase their product. I've also stopped carrying their product at my shop, and have switched to TC Spoilers carbon fiber hoods which are of excelent quality (too bad they only to the NSX in fiberglass).
So Chris, hook a fellow up? ;-P j/k
