New Ferrari Dino

Sounds interesting. When I was little my neighbor had a white Dino with no front fascia in his garage for like 10 years, I think he was attempting a restoration. The car is beautiful now and I think with a new entry level Ferrari Dino that Modenas and F430s will finally become more of a rare sight. I just hope that it doesn't turn into a situation like Z06s were we see them every hour or so on the road.

A Ferrari with a V6
Enzo Ferrari did not consider the original Dino to be a Ferrari. I saw him say in an interview that "It's a Dino. A Ferrari is a 12 cylinder car". That was years back before the 308 series came out though.

The Dino was named after Enzo's only son, Alfredino, who in 1956 died of kidney failure at the young age of 24.

That's right. I don't believe you will see any Ferrari badges on the Dino but I may be wrong.

yeah but a lot of Dino owners buy Ferrari badges and put them on anyways.

Actually there is the FIAT Dino, in this case rebadged, with the engine in a normal logitude setup with a solid rear axle:

and the Ferrari Dino, BEAUTIFUL car, name model 246, with a transverse mounted midengine:

The 1970 Fiat Dino Spyder.

"Some people say this is the car that saved Ferrari because it used the Ferrari V-6 engine and provided a needed slteady income for the once struggling company. The truth is that Fiat had already bought Ferrari, so this little roadster was not the savior. Even so, the Dino provided the thrill of a Ferrari at a cut-rate price." Dream Car Calendar 2005.
