Just some pics of my new custom made exhaust tips. :) The exhaust is the same, modified from double to single tip design.
Background: My garage had my exhaust for more than unbeliefably 6 (!) months and did nothing at all than storing it. :( I finally took it to another shop and they did it in 3 hours. :)

I really like it. IMHO simple and clean. What exhaust did you modify?

I modified a Remus exhaust, very common here in Europe, every second NSX has it. :)

Looking good Thomas!

Very similar to my project on the Tubi.

Did you also have to do that to accommodate your '02+ rear valance?

(Off Topic - Just waiting for your 'thing' to arrive - should be out this week)

Wow. I have always thought that a quad would look better. Man...who am I fooling. I think the dual exhaust looks so much better looking than the quad now. That quad look very like Honda Accord exhaust style. I have seen so many Accord adding quad exhaust. I guess they think quad means more horsepower vs dual :)

Thanks very much! :)
Good and informative write-up on your project with the tips, Ken. Yes, I had the Comptech exhaust from the time where the 02+ rear was mounted on my car as the quad tips were about 1'' too wide. Due to my intention not to go in prison (with or because of the CT :D) I 'HAD' to modify my old but streetlegal Remus. Now someone else (Micha on prime) to who I sold the CT is going to prison for me. :D Good to know that he really likes the CT. :D:)

I don't think that there's any difference concerning sound between dual and quad tips but there's a noticably difference between the Remus and the CT! :D And I think/feel that the freeflowing CT had a little bit more torque (5 Nm?). The next dyno will reveal it. :)

A friend of mine told me: There was a time in the 90s where the more - the better was ruling. But nowadays dual tips mean understatment. :) And I really hated the quad tips with the old rear design as they just looked ugly from the side. The 02+ rear hides very much of the 'hardware'. :)

Nice!

The 02+ valence completes the NSX :)

I am however still quad-fan :D
