Are there ever any meets in New England?

Sure there are, but it's better known for it's chowder.

Perhaps the next New England meet can feature chowder (in bread bowls):biggrin:

Up until three years ago, we had the annual New Hampshire event organized by Rich each year - driving through scenic roads in Maine/New Hampshire and eating delicious seafoods. During the past two years, the NorthEast Exotic Car Show event has been quite popular, and Clem has been organizing Mt Greylock Run.
There were some other events such as meeting for dinner in Boston, S2000 & NSX joint BBQ events, tour of Factory Five, exotic car run to Vermont and etc.

Hopefully, a lot of such events will be resurrected this year.

Can't we just meet in NY and eat Manhattan clam chowder?

How do I find out about these? will they be posted here?

Is there a track in CT? I wouldn't mind going to a track event and learning some skills.
Dave, you need to cme to WGI in July for Kid's Day and also you can sign up with TrackMaster's for their track time with NSX instructors from your NE Region. Peter Mills and Doc John are a couple of our members who instruct there and know the NSX inside out. At the same time you can do some major good for these incredible kids. We've had a number of members from the Boston area make the trip in years past.

Well, a lot of NE events used to be posted on Rich's website:

However, they were also posted here. NSX Club of America also mails out the preliminary schedule of events for the year in spring.

As for the track, there are various options for high performance driving school.

There are four tracks that I have been to that are "relatively" close to MA.

New Hampshire International Speed Way (NH - about 1.5 hours from Boston)
Lime Rock (CT - about 2.5 hours from Boston)
Watkins Glen (NY - about 6.5 hours from Boston)
Circuit Mont-Tremblant (Montreal - about 7 hours form Boston)

A lot of clubs offer events at these tracks:

They all have great instructors and will teach you a lot about how to drive your car properly. However, you should really coordinate with Peter or DocJohn to learn the most about driving NSX. As Roger suggested, they are the best and the most invaluable instructors and NSX Drivers.
