New Clutch Needed - where to go?

I'm close to purchasing a 1994 NSX that has the clutch pedal engaging high up the pedal. Don't know how high up the pedal yet, but assuming its "high". Seller reports no slippage, but an indicator it may not last too much longer. I live in Brentwood - far East Bay - so where can I take my prospective NSX for an OEM clutch job?

Did a PPI on another car at Don at Hilltop but hoping there is someone qualified closer to home or even at a dealer (although they have never been my favorite place).

What about price, anyone had one done lately? Any other thoughts/suggestions?? Appreciate the help. Andrew

So far Clutch Works and Don.... they are like 70 miles away. Appreciate other options??

I just did clutch works, they didn't tell me my master cylinder was leaking and adjusted the throw to counteract the issue after 100 miles the clutch burnt out. she says it's because I reused a exedy pressure plate and flywheel and only replaced the disc which from everything on prime that is a good repair.

I work for Honda and know it is always best to replace everything however when they removed everything it looked almost new still, the lady who runs it said yah it looks great lets put it back together. the fact there was no call for something that was broken/leaking to offer me the repair and allow me to decline it, they didn't even offer it at all...

I wouldn't suggest them to anyone sorry, if she felt the job I asked her to do was improper she should have said so, doing that kind of job be thorough enough to check the master and slave to me is expected, and then to blame your discretion on customer supplied parts to me is just not the way to run your bussiness, but maybe I am still a little ticked I spent 1k on something that lasted an afternoons drive.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Had thought there would be several options, but after checking around on price, $2,900ish appears to be the going rate. Already had PPI and very positive experiences with Don, so he is the man!! Just would have liked something closer to home but will travel for quality........

Don't forget Driving Ambition' They are about the same distance from Brentwood (I live here too), I don't know how busy he is. When I save enough for a new clutch I'm there.
