I will have to get a new clutch put in.
Now, while it's in the shop, I figured I might as well use the time well, and when I have to spend big buck I might as weel treat myself with some goodies. (get the picture.... bad things happen (clutch) and I turn them into something great. (performance=))

I know header will gain more hp, but flywheel is cheaper.
Have not found much "decent" info on performance on light flywheel yet either, so I was thinking header would be better.

No to the question; will the clutch change coming up save me som installation time if I also did headers?

I have done both individually and can say the performance and fun of a good header system for the pre 97 cars is better then the performance and fun of my Jun Ultra Light flywheel.

The DC sport headers I have really opened up the sound and provided a noticable increase in performance (I had alleady done the exhaust on my 91 so YMMV).

The flywheel is great fun at the track if you heel and toe - but if you are the stoplight warrior or a drag strip kind of guy - you will actually want to keep your stock flywheel - I have been told.

There is a slight overlap. I would think you can save 1 hour labor.
