Just purchased a new '05, 11/1/05 and when I start it cold and shift into 1st, it grinds until the car warms- no problem later. Also on my drive back to Seattle, when I stopped to re-fuel I smell a "hot" (maybe clutch) or slight
burning smell coming from the drivers wheel wheel area...this is my 5th
new NSX and never had this before...Oil level fine, no drips. Any ideas?

its probably a bad syncho but its under warranty :frown: Your the 4th 02 and newer NSX Ive heard of with single digit miles, i.e under 10k miles with this issue. We just replaced the 2nd gear syncho on the 02 yellow with 7k that we sold last week. Trans was fine when warm, but grinds when cold.

Beautiful car btw !
Sorry I have no input on transmission issues as mines been fine for the last 10k ive put on it in the last year. Ive heard of another Nsx owner on the boards having an issue like youve had though.
