New '02 in Tampa

Just stopped in Ferman Acura in Tampa. They have a Spa Yellow on the floor. My first '02 in the flesh. Looks great IMO. I really liked the new wheels and the rear tail light treatment. Overall the entire car looks much better in person than in the photos.
Salesman said that the next generation will be a hybrid with another 100hp from electric driven front wheels. Said that the GM had just returned from an Acura meeting and the rumored V-8 is not in the plans as previously reported here.
Anyway, you Tampa area guys may want to check it out.

It seems to be pretty common knowledge that the acura sales reps know about as much abou the next gen car as we do. All speculation and nothing more.

The sales guy probably read that in the same place I did; Road & Track or Autoweek.
Speculation, Speculation, Speculation.
I will not drop by Ferman to look. I stay away from those guys.
Best Acura repair is at Crown in Clearwater.
It's worth the drive.

I agree with you Netviper, I've found that I generally know more than most of the sales people. I won't incur the wrath (again) of NSXtasy by making my prediction.

Hey, go ahead and predict. We won't know what the truth is until Mother Honda reveals it.

However, Honda is really good at keeping its secrets - and keeping them from the public at large as well as from its dealers.

wonder why ferman is the first to get the nsx stuff and crown gets nothing especially when crown service's all the nsx's in this area
hell ferman got a Zanardi to a couple of years ago.
