New '02 Custom Valence & LED Taillights

Well as my driving season comes to and end my NSX is tucked in for a nap until April '10 sometime. After my '02 front conversion thought it was time to decide on a new exhaust since not many dual exhausts will fit the '02 valence... so after a long debate I decided to keep my Ark exhaust and modify the Jetz '02 valence.

I didn't have it done in time for NSXPO, but after re-working it many times & on & off the car many times we finally installed on the car. Here are some pics of the completed valence hole enlarged fiberglassed & freshly painted to fit the Ark DT-X exhaust. I know alot of people were asking what it might look like while at NSXPO here you go.

I need some better pics later from a real camera later I guess... from my Blackberry enjoy for now! Let me know what you guys think?

It's surprising that even a missing front emblem can make the front end look "naked" even if it's such a small detail. Love how the NSX-R wing blends in with the body color. Nice custom valence!

I would love to do a CF type diffuser, but not sure it will fit correctly we slightly narrowed the contour near the tips my underside was pretty much left alone so 50/50 chance it might fit correctly. I'd love to take a look at someones & also take some measurements & go from there.

Humm... you mean like this? I've had Volk LE28N's 17's & 18's for almost 6 years... lol OEM's are just for hibernation until April/March '10.

Hey Johnny, thanks pleased with the results. It was alot more work than I originally anticipated... we also had a few blemishes in the FRP itself we found 2 sets of air bubbles on the sides near the 90 Degree bend towards the wheel so no where near the exhaust openings which we worked on only. Had to basically break through the gel coat re-fiberglass the holes re-prime & repaint. Otherwise she would have stress cracked through the paint after time its a good thing my body guy spotted them before we painted it.

Yes I changed it a while back used to be 'Rudeboy_Baby_NSX'... only took a few years of asking around & the mods changed it for me :biggrin:
