FWIW I had my car on the lift this weekend and noticed the negative battery cable lug bolted to the body was so corroded I did'nt see the bolt. I assume it's from moisture since that area is open from underneath. You can't see it with the battery installed but it should definately be checked. I pd. $24.00 for a new cable.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll have a look at mine too.

That is a really good tip:).

Please put it in the Wiki:D

Thanks,
LarryB

where is this located? Behind the battery? Can you see it when the car is on a lift or jack stands? Thx :D

Yes you can see it on a lift w/out batt. removal. Otherwise you will have to remove the batt. to see it from the top. Hopefully I'm the only one with this problem. I was'nt having problems, I was installing shocks when I saw it.

David,
What year is your NSX? In your scenario, is it age related or just mositure getting on the lug nut area? I'll check mine this weekend.

91 model, I think it's moisture related. The rest is very clean. It's odd that a ground cable corroded/. Usually I see pos. cable corrode.
