Need your help 92 nsx JH4NA1153NT001182

No info on here or google. Try running a vehicle history report to see if there's anything immediately fishy.

That car looks pretty damn clean for a salvage. Why is it salvaged? The price is still too high for a salvage though. It's worth 35k

according to the seller he don't know why it came back as salvage either.. Would 35k be a fair offer?

Pay the money and run a car fax report on it. You really don't want to buy someone else's problems for a high asking price. Let's see where you end up after the history is pulled. It could be a salvage due to theft like my own nsx. In California and Arizona I know stolen recovery vehicles must be salvaged no matter the condition when recovered.

The climate control issue is an easy fix. Send to Brian K and it'll be fixed for a couple hundred bucks.

Major accident with a title washing. Get a ppi inspection if you're interested in the car. Make sure it drives straight, offer 30K no more....

thanks all! i'll keep searching.
There have been a few people here looking for non salvage nsx's under or at 35,000. They started a nsx wanted thread and surprisingly got a few offers to sell from users here. I'd create a wanted to buy thread unless you already haven't.

I would pass on it, however, if I were to buy it I would not offer more than 25k. That's also considering there's nothing mechanically major (i.e., engine, transmission or clutch related etc.).

If you're seriously considering it, bring it in for a pre-purchase inspection (nsx specialist recommended). Good luck and keep us posted!

Good call.

Car had TWO major accidents and aluminum doesn't like to go back to the same spot.

Oh also, the VIN needs to be added to the salvage list and the seller probably ought to see the Carfax. I'm surprised more sellers don't check out the history of their own car before they list (or buyers before they jump in and buy).

Just a FYI for everyone. North Dakota used to be the state where a salvage title does don't get recorded. Then if you took their title and quickly got it titled somewhere else it it will thenalways show up as clean. Don't ask me how I knew this.

There was no way he didn't know and it'll be impossible to clean the carfax record.

Any reason why you didnt pick it up, Did you get a chance to check it out? Any input appreciated.

Reason being is that the car had two major accidents and no I didn't get a chance to check it out. hope this help

Just picked up a 91formula red nsx last week with 83k miles.
