Need to add cruise control

I have a Momo steering wheel with Mugen hub installed on my '97 and I would like to find a place to wire up the cruise control. Does anyone have ideas on this? If so, is there a wiring diagram to show the proper wires to do this? Don't want to add it on steering and don't know which wires are which?

good luck, sounds like a pain is the ass. How often do you use your cruise control? Ive never used mine before...

I drive a 100 mile stretch on the interstate quite often. Plus, it keeps me from doing 110 mph if I can set the cruise at 80 mph. I'm sure it will be a pain but still want to explore the option.

here's a few pics of nsx's with cruise control mounted on the steering wheel

and here's how mine is attached from the back of the steering wheel

Hi I know this is an old thread but I clicked on the links and they are not working. Does anyone have the two links above that are working?

I don't have the links; but, you could try using the Wayback Machine internet archive to see if there is an archived version of NSX Prime from around 2005. The pages might exist in that archive.

Thanks guys yeah I looked at those links and they actually give the wiring diagram on how to wire it up including the buttons and the yellow 6 pin plug(going to the SRS reel) directly under the steering column as per attached pic. Unfortunately my car did not come with the reel. I've looked through the NSX workshop manual 2.0 to see which wire from which pin on the 6 pin yellow plug goes to the Accel. and Decel. button but I cant seem to find any literature on that 6 pin connector.

Ive found another diagram(attached as well) drawn by another user on this forum but he claims there are mistakes in the polarity and looking at the polarity it still doesn't follow electrical principles but I may be wrong.

Interestingly my car has two wires spliced into pin 4 and 5 of the yellow plug which i suspect is for an aftermarket DIY 2 button setup. pin 6 definitely spliced to the horn button (this I can confirm so the horn works fine)

Ive also found a youtube link of someone who has wired up an aftermarket 2 button cruise control but its not clear how he wired the buttons up as it goes to the SRS reel which i currently do not have. Attached is the link below.

If anyone can help with a diagram of the yellow 6 pin connector under the steering column connected to the 2 buttons (Accel, Decel) and horn button connection that would be the perfect diagram to explain everything in terms of connection.

I'll take a look at my ETM and see if that explains the pins.

*EDIT* Ok here's the circuit. Connector C704 is the 6-pin yellow connector that you picture in the above post. Pin 1 is the LT GRN/WHT wire that provides constant 12V power via the horn relay. This is your (+) source on both switches. You might want to put diodes in-line to prevent cross-talk between switches. Pin 2 is your "Resume" switch and should be wired from the (-) terminal of the switch. Pin 3 is the "Set" switch and should be wired the same way.

I fixed those 2 links so if you try them again they will work. Lots of the pictures are gone but a few remain. The forum migration was not perfect, unfortunately, and those links didn't get fixed quite right so I did it manually.

I did some small hidden buttons on the steering column for my cruise control. You don't really see them unless you know where they are.
