Hey Guys I just took the car to the track after getting all done tuning & converting the car E85 fuel conversion. The car is producing 508RWHP on the Dyno.I tried launching at several different Rpm's all between 3000--4000 Rpm.My best time was an 11.6 in the 1/4 mile my best 60ft was a 1.6 & my highest trap speed was 126 mph.I was not able to really lock up the brakes to warm up the tires being the pedals are so close together so I just smoked the tires in first gear the best I could to warm them up.Do they sell some type of front brake lock kit for the Nsx that would make this procedure a lot easier or any tips greatly appreciated.

Here some video of my car at the track: E85 Nsx vs Twin Turbo 335I Boosted

You dont really need a line loc.I too race my car at the strip and I just get my rear tires in the water and dump the clutch and jump on the brakes. I takes a little practice but it is easy to do. Nice 60 foot time 1.6 my best 60 foot has been 1.68 but did not complete the run as a charge line came off. When I ran my 11.1 it was with a 1.86 60 foot time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vI8mknEWqO0 In this video to warm up my tires I just dump the clutch and jump on the brakes. If you watch the other videos by mrsbozo you will some other burnouts and that is how I warm up my tires. Give it a try and let me know if it works any better. What tires are you running? Do you have a two step in your computer. If you have an aem ems you will have a two step that you can program to a specific launch rpm. Start lower, 3000 rpm ,and keep going up by 200 rpm until you start spinning the tires too much. I am sure that you will find out that the hardest part of drag racing is the 60 foot. Watch the 10.39 video that mine is a response to and watch his 60 foot, it is 1.56. If you learn anything else let me know as I too would like to run in the 10s...............

Im running the Nitto 555R Drag Radial .I had the two step set up when I last went out & hated it The car came to almost a complete stop off the line I had it set at 3500 rpm .I've been told thats the way to go still have to dial it in I guess .When I turned it off I ran my best times.
