I am about to replace the battery on my NSX. It's almost three years old and I noticed when I popped the hood that it was sparking (sizzling) around the positive post whenever there was a draw on it. (ie. trunk open, door, etc.) There are little smoldering embers smoking and melting the red rubber terminal cover. Anyway, the question is simple....... Is there anything special I should know about when replacing the NSX battery? One of my mechanics at the dealership will do it for me but I want to inform him of anything unique....... Do you have to remove it from the bottom? Or will it clear the blower motor by just removing the spare? Anything special electrically that I need to know? Anthing else? I'm throwing in another Interstate Mega-tron in case anyone was wondering..... Thanks guys.
