Yeah there was a post on audizine of a guy who's wife was a lawyer.  And he had a non-carb engine swap.  And the lawyer (his wife) had convinced the judge the swap was done in a state that it was legal, and that it would have cost tens of thousands of dollars to fix.. so the judge dismissed it
