Have a 1993 Acura NSX that I will be changing the water pump and timing belt. While I am in there, was wondering what seals and gasket should be changed as preventive maintance. That way I can get everything done at once. If you guys know OEM part numbers that would be fantastic or anything else I should look for or do.
Thanks , Todd

My list as of right now:
Water pump
Timing belt
Valve cover gaskets
All Coolant hoses
All Axle boots
Oil pan gasket (Puttin SOS baffle in there)
Inspect Crankshaft pulley
TitaniumDave's crank pulley shield
......What else should I do?

Replace the crankshaft pulley and/or install TitaniumDave's shield. Either can prevent the crankshaft pulley from coming apart, rubbing through the timing belt cover, and jumping the timing on the engine.

  • oil & fuel filter while your at it
  • Sparkplugs
Those two items are part of the recommended maintenance schedule in the owner's manual. I'd suggest going through the entire schedule, and performing whatever maintenance work is now due, based on the mileage and time intervals recommended there. (One item is flushing the coolant, which is normally done when the water pump is replaced, so that will already be taken care of.)

Thanks guys, ofdlt10 just faxed me over some part numbers and some info on gaskets and seals I should get. When I get a chance I will update the list
