I bought some F1 Spec reclinable racing seats and just installed one of them. I'm not sure if I should go with the racing seats or stick with my OEM's that I re-leathered two tone. The seats hold tighter but aren't as comfortable as the OEM. Also the weight savings is only about 3 lbs per seat so it's almost a wash. What do you guys think?

It depends on how you use your NSX. If it's a daily driver or if you put on a lot of miles, I'd stick with the stocks. If it's a weekend warrior or track car, I'd keep the F1 specs in there as they will definately hold you better.

Since the F1 seats don't look like actual "race" seats, they may be comfortable enough for daily driving. IMO, the "racer" look/feel gets kind of old after about an hour on public roads.

Both seats look good but F1 seat stand out & look sexy  the rest is up to you:wink:

I like the OEM seats.

I'm not a big fan of race seats anywhere other than a race car-- that's why they call them race seats.

Bryan,

I saw your 2-tone seats and thought they looked great with the car. Quite surprised you changed them out. And considering you have way more rwhp than should be allowed, I don't think the weight savings is an issue.

I vote for OEM.

Keep that beast between the lines.

Thanks for the input guys. It looks like people are leaning towards OEM. I'm still struggling with which way to go. The plan was to leather wrap the race seats, but I'm starting to realize getting in and out of the car is much harder with the race seats. At first I didn't mind but now it's starting to become a PITA.

OEM all the way. Matches much better for interior.
