Anybody know what size nut + bolt I should use for the test pipes? And what material should I get? Stainless steel or steel?

Thnx.

Henry.

When I replaced my headers, I chose to go with all stainless steel fastners. The studs in the cats (OEM) were so stuck and rusted that I had them taken out and then just put in stainless bolts/washers/nuts when I put it back together. I'm hoping this will allow easy disassembly in the future, should I need it.

I got a bolt and nut from homedepot knocked out the studs and bolted them together get stainless and a good hardened/grade bolt and nut they are cheep when comparing them to the oem studs @ $15 a pop this works for the oem cats as well. Sorry I don't recall the size i used i took one with me and matched the bolt to the size hole.

Just be sure to use Gold anti-seize on the bolts or they will seize like all the rest! It's called C5-A High Temp.
