i looked but couldnt really find the info Im looking for.

Didnt the first year of the NA2 still come with the flip up lights and if so did that year also have the targa top model?

if so what year is it please. thanks a million.

97-01 NA2 models have both pop-up head lights and targa tops (with the exception of a few non-targa models)

Top of my head...

91-94 - All coupes and 5 speed manuals with the 3.0L engine (known as NA1 with flip up headlights)

95-96 - All Targa's with the 5 speed manual and 3.0L engine (known as NA1 with flip up headlights)

97-01 - All Targa's with the exception of a few (handful and rare) specially ordered coupes and the 3.2L engine including 6-speed manual (known as NA2 with flip up headlights)

02-05 - NSX facial upgrade to exposed headlights and all Targa's with the 3.2L engine and 6-speed manual (known as NA2 with Exposed headlights)
