need help w/alpine changer

hey guys i tried to do a search on this but i didn't find anything. i just purchased an alpine cha-s634 mp3 changer and bought the adapters( acualp and k 130b) i hooked it up and it doesn't seem to identify the changer being there. it ejects the cartridge out and lights up but the headunit displays CD EEE.. can someone help me out please? i went to a local shop and buddy told me it would only read the chm s630 m-bus changer.

Did you remember to set the switch inside the door from 1 to 2?

yup i did that, but the only thing i didn't do is make sure the plugs are in and secure. by doing that it works fine now..thanks. i guess i was rushing it a lil bit for the ride :biggrin:
