I'm trying to swap seats between a 91 and 94 model. Unfortunately, the power-seat harness connectors located underneath the seat is different between the two year models.

Both seats have exactly the same four color coded wires. They are (2) blacks, (1) white/green, and (1) white/blue.

I'm trying to see if I can cut the wires and re-attach the appropriate harness to the respective seat to get it working. In other words, I'm trying to swap the harness.

Does anyone know if it should be ok? If someone has an electrical diagram for both the 91 and 94 model would you please help me look it up and compare? I don't want to end up burning up the seat motors.

Thanks for reading and for your help.

If both seats are only 4 wires, but different plugs, i'm 99% sure you can just cut the plugs and reconnect the wires with butt connectors or a soldering gun. You shouldnt have any problem, unless you cross up some of the wires.

Yes, looks like the pax side has 4 wires and the driver's side has 6. Both seats have equal amount of wires, and same color-code for each of the wire.

I'm going to swap the harness and see how it works out.
THanks.

Hey Guys. Thank you. A friend helped me disconnect the end of the wires from the harness and swapped it out without having to cut the wires. Worked out great. I'm happy! Thank you!
