Ive found two nsx's I like. They are my first and second choices in color.

Here is my situation:

1st choice had a comptec supercharger on it, was removed by owner and it still has an upgraded clutch that went with the supercharger. It has had some paint work on the front bumper due to rock chips and maybe the rear bumper too. no accidents and all vin stickers are present. The t-belt and H20 service has been done this year and it was due to be done for the first time in 2009. I'm strickly a factory engine type guy. I dont know the purpose of a supercharger maybe some of you can shed some light on me about it and its purpose. I don't understand if you just drive weekends and cruise whats the purpose if not tracking the car. Should I be concern about a supercharger being on the car at one point in its life or not? If not for that I would have picked this one up.

2nd choice is 95 percent original with no engine mods ever. no paint work all papers. the car T-belt and H20 service is due to be done next year. All vin stickers are present. this car is 3k to 4k less miles and it is a couple grands more than the 1st choice.

What would you do and thanks?
Hope to be riding in my New nsx soon

First one had a harder life than the second one based on your description. first car is kind of like a porn star that went mainstream. she may had some "extra" wear and tear vs. the other. I am sure the first one is a great driver otherwise.

I'd go for the second. I'm siding with you since I'm not into messing with factory engine--- Risking future troubles and also having to disclose the fact when I do decide to sell the car will also be a challenge.

Best of luck!

i'd go with first.. im sure there was no wear from the CTSC he just uninstalled it to get more money before he sold it. He did the water/timing for you which is 2-3k off your next bill and the 1st one is cheaper by couple of grands.

Most nsx's ive seen needed a repainted front anyways because back then they didnt have clear bras.

Thats my .02

A supercharger is a form of forced induction...basically to make more HP, make the car go faster.
I would get a compression and leakdown test if you wanted piece of mind

Do a PPI inspection on both cars and test drive both.
Compression / Leak down test if possible.
See which one feels better on the road.
After all that, i'm sure u can make a clear decision.
