Hello,

I have a problem. My mechanic is putting in a new clutch, everything was going smooth until it came time to separate the the transmission from the clutch. It is not coming apart easily. There is play but he does not want to force it out at the risk of breaking the transmission. He said that the bearing?? must be rusted inside. He said that he will use some wd-40 and let it sit. Any other suggestions for this stupid problem would greatly be appreciated, as I am going crazy without my NSX.

Regards,

Sounds like he may not have pulled the T/O fork away from the bearing. This will cause the problem you are describing. I have never seen the problem with the T/o bearing getting stuck on the shaft. If you don't have a manual there is one on this sight in the faq.
