I would say no, but others would disagree. I think many say you need a BBK because on a track you are going a lot faster with the SC and therefore you are going to need to be harder on the brakes. Thus, the BBK helps a lot. If you go faster, you have to be able to stop faster.
On the street though, I really don't think it is a big issue. Just my 2 cents.
Keep in mind that that BBK is also going to cost you a few horsepower. Not really an issue for a track car where the ability to maintain braking lap after lap is a must, but it's just a total waste for a street application. My .02
i believe that the BBK is more about heat from heavy track use. the stock system can engage abs just as well as a BBK can, and you cant press the peddle any harder than that!
I would also agree with not going with a BBK if your not going to track the car. Do you have different pads or SS Brakes lines? That will help, but won't break the bank!
