Would someone who has the OEM sheepskin seatcovers comment on pros and cons?

What colors are available?

Can someone point me to a picture and/or some more info? I poked around Acura.com and didn't find anything.

They are "demi" seat covers, that cover the headrests and center sections of the seats, but not the side bolsters.

Pro: Perfect fit. Perfect color match. Still show the beautiful natural leather on the sides. Protect the leather underneath.

Con: See below.

None. They were discontinued years ago.

If you're interested in sheepskin seat covers, your best bet is to look into aftermarket ones. There are many auto accessories places that offer custom ones that should fit very well (although they may cover the entire seat). Here is one example.

Hi Joec, I have some custom made ones that I bought a couple years ago. I changed my mind on the seat cover thing so I only used it for a few months. If you are interested in looking at them drop me a line
They are a tan color.

nsxtasy, thanks for the info and the link.

Smoothaccel, sounds interesting except for the color...

My real incentive for seat covers is to "change" the color from tan to black, while keeping and protecting the original seats. The demi covers would not have met the need anyway. I think that changing the seats, floor mats, and maybe the rear wall panel (somehow?) to black will satisfy my craving for a black interior. The remaining tan will be accent. I just need to make sure the black seat covers will not fade on the tan leather.
