Need a Shipping Company from Michigan

Would appreciate suggestions regarding reputable shipping company to ship a car one way from Ann Arbor, Michigan to California.

Both closed or open carrier would be a consideration.

Pilot transport is located in Michigan. I've used them in the past without incident.

Thanks for the reference to Pilot. I did a search on the forum as well by looking at such discussion during NSXPO events. Intercity Lines is another name that came up quite often, plus some others.

So far, it appears that closed transport will cost about $1500 +/_ and open transport about $800 +/_. Interestingly, these bids appear to be similar to what we heard for NSXPOs going across the country west coast to east coast which is another 800 to 1000 miles for the most part!

Stay away from Intercity Lines, nothing but bad news to say about there guys in the Detroit area. If you want the best in the Detroit area, go with Reliable. They ship for the big three and are located in Canton MI, they ship to AZ and Cali on a daily basis.

I have a personal aquaintence who does this for a living. He transpots alot of very high dollar cars. They have enclosed and open. Not sure what you are willing to pay but if you want to talk to him pm me and I'll get you the number you can contact him at on Monday.
