Photo of my old Ferrari-red cover courtesy of Martin.

I spoke right now with the producer, it is a small shop in northern Italy and they are specialized on hi-end car covers (he also did the car cover for the Pope-car that is really a one of a kind car ... ).

Anyway, last time he did three and the price was 330 EUR +shipment. Kind of expensive but very high quality, shiny and soft.

Martin can confirm about the quality, shininess and the ease of use... :)

The guy said that he is willing to produce it if we are wat least five... so if somebody is interested for a group buy let me know since I have to buy a black one for my new beast!

Available colors are Ferrari red, white, silver, yellow, black, english green, electric blue and navy blue.

PS: shipment for the US customers could be combined to a single address and this would reduce the shipping price a lot, in the order of 15-20$ each.

The car cover I use is by California Car Cover (Chatsworth, California). I have owned several of them for other vehicles and both of my NSX's. In fact, the guy I sold my first NSX to (including the car cover) had several buddies who wanted to know where they could get one. The material that I prefer is called Superweave. It's thin so it takes up very little space when stowed. It's slick, super high quality, for indoor and outdoor use... and machine washable and dryable. I get the gray color because it draws much less attention. I just got one for my new NSX and I believe the price was about $230.

There are lots of different materials in which car covers are made. Some are softer than others, some are more durable than others, some can be folded to be more compact than others, some are more water-permeable than others, etc. Different materials for different needs. Compare your needs with the material comparisons and guidance shown on the websites of car cover vendors like California Car Cover and Big Sky Car Cover.

What fabric is that red cover made of?

I asked them and they are made of a mix of polyester, polyamide and pentalobate (I am not sure about he english translation of these terms) to get the resistence, the softness and the shiny. The last one is for the shine! :D ;)

He can get whatever logo we want, but he needs a hi-res file of it.

I am wondering if I need an Acura one¨:D

I know it is quite expensive, it should be around 380$. Anyway, I was so pleased that I am buying my second... of all the cover I ahave seen this is the one that follow the car details in the closest way!

I recently bought a Superweave Car Cover from California Car Cover. This car cover starts @ $309.99. It fits the car like a glove, just like the NSX in the picture, except its only availble in gray or taupe.

Our state-of-the-art fabric, Superweave is a revolutionary material that provides unsurpassed protection from moisture and dust. A patented encapsulation process creates an umbrella-like barrier that causes water to bead off the cover, to keep your car protected. The best all-weather cover on the market, it is lightweight and stores easily and compactly. It is the only material that can be washed and dried in your home machines.

I bought this cover mainly for the last reason above - being able to wash it in my home washer and dryer.

Hi gheba_nsx :) .

I'm a Honda-enthusiast from Norway (actually I'm the one Martin talked about in the previous topic about this car-cover before you moved it :) ).
I don't have a NSX, but I'm currently heavily modifying a '93 model Honda Civic hatchback with complete styling of the exterior and interior, AND turbo-charging the engine. I really want to have car-cover like the one Martin got with his NSX (only made for the Civic hb of course ;) ). Do you think it would be possible to get one (silver with the H-logo on the hood and a Civic-logo on the front and back in dark grey) for me?

Thankful for all the help you can give me :) .
