Why don't you put some numerical values to what you are looking for?One man's intepretation of an ideal DD might be different than another's.For me I demand some sorta of performance from all of my cars (DD included). that could be handling, braking, HP/TQ.My DD makes 600HP and on the freeway gets near 30MPGs (it helps that at 65MPH I'm just under 2k RPMs~). That's suffice for me since my usual commute is just a little over 11 miles each way.
