I'm looking to install an Alpine navigation unit to my car, and since the car came with a factory cell phone...I was wondering if there was a wire for "radio interrupt" when the phone rings?

Does anyone know if there is one, or how to interrupt the factory radio when the navigation speaks?

thanks,
Allen

There is one, the phone uses it.

According to the NSX manual (see FAQ/Reference) page 23-230 circuit diagram, the orange/white lead A11 is a mute input for the stereo. It looks like the cell phone is just wired inline to the rear (center) speaker, though the diagram isn't as clear on that point.

Maybe we're on our way to a digital cell phone kit!
