NASCAR Fixed?

I've been reading more and more about this too.....

This is B.S. Of course it's not fixed. People just bitch about the number of caution flags thrown in the races... and hell,I'm one of those people. Because they throw cautions for ANYTHING on the track. But NASCAR is caught between a rock and a hard place, the minute they don't throw the flag for debris, somebody will hit it, cut a tire, take out 13 cars and everyone will say "WHY DIDN"T YOU THROW THE FLAG!!" Stewart is my fav driver. He's just frustrated because he's had a lot of very promising runs this year that have all turned to crap at the end. He's just whining.

I agree with the Phialpha. It is definitely a catch 22. Tony is very frustrated right now, and needs to take some time to cool off. He has had some back luck, there is no doubt. But he is just flying off the handle at whoever he sees first right now. His anger at Jaime McMurray last weekend should have been focused at David Gilliland. I think he knew it afterwards, but by then it was too late. He's a great driver, but he is letting his emotions get the best of him. When he calms down and gets his head back in it he will benefit.

He's certainly over-reacting as well, due to the fact that even with the bad luck he is still 6th in the points, correct? To have a run of bad luck and still be in the top 10 is luck, in and of itself. He'll get things back on track...

Re: What's the target market profile?

From what I hear, there are some races where the crowd profile has gone from the typical mid 30's good-old-boys to 21 year old-spring-break-show-your-tits-tailgate partyers that don't know squat about what's going down on track. So, if that's even 1/2 way true, maybe the wrestling entertainment atmosphere is the right marketing answer.

Isn't that something when the old timer NASCRAP fans stop crowing about crushing the open wheel racing market and moan that they've lost the sport they love. It's all just Entertainment Evolution.
