Just out of curiosity, how many NA2 Coupe's were built and why are there never ever any for sale? I've always wanted a later model/6 spd version but not a "T" fan. No offense, I'm just a fan of coupes.

You could the yellow salvage coupe on ebay
You could also convert a t-top to a coupe, though it is not cheap, but it has been done and documented on Prime before.
Cheaper to put a 6 speed in your car! You can do type r final drive and keep the dual disc clutch with input shaft and it will be newer than a 6 speed coupe tranny too. Those cars are worth too much to mess with also, and I know you live modding.

Very few were made. It sucks that there are only TWO ever made that I would really really want and would be willing to 'pay' for, but both will never be sold (last time I heard) - 1997 MBP/Black Manual and 2001 GPW/Tan Manual.
