Na1, na2

Welcome aboard! There is a really comprehensive Wiki and FAQ database that can answer this and many(most?) questions, but this one is a pet peeve so Im going to answer it anyhow :D

NA1 = 3.0 liter engine

Available in manual transmission, 5 speed, at 270HP from release through 1996

Available in auto transmission, at 252HP from release through the end (2005)

NA2 = 3.2 liter engine

Available in manual transmission only, 6 speed only, at 290HP from 1997 through the end (2005)

Basically, the auto trans is always an NA1 at 252HP, 5 speed is always the NA1 at 270HP and NA2 is the 6 speed 1997+ models at 290HP

In 2002 the car got a cosmetic upgrade going to fixed lights and a number of other nice little extras like HIDs, a little exterior visual update, nicer interior, etc. This is often, wrongly, called an "NA2". Many argue that this makes things "easier", but it doesnt. It leads to confusion for folks trying to figure out what the heck the term really means! ;)

This engine designation code is also featured in the NSX VIN. If you look at some listings, you'll see that autos always have the "NA1" VIN, as will pre 97 manuals... All 97-2005 manuals will have the NA2 designation in their vin.
