One thing that puzzles me is Honda literally have Zero information on the drivetrain.

This article shown a prototype DI SOHC 3.5L V6. I certainly hope that's not the engine they put in.

That's because they haven't invented it yet. ;) The test mules are using the SOHC 3.5L "sport hybrid" system destined for the RL. The NSX system will be a more "robust" version of that powertrain, but Ito has challenged the engineers to come up with a lightweight, high-power variant. I say 6 to 9 months before any prototype is ready. It's a big challenge to say the least.

I'm sure they will do something other than the DI 3.5 SOHC, however, they should be telling us what is their goal. It is not like they're not capable of doing something outrageous with HP/Liter.

I agree with you Vance... If they get anywhere close to Porsche gt3 HP/liter numbers I will be happy. Do you think you're going to add this car to your stable when it comes out? =)
