I've never been to NSXPO, put I would assume there would be far more cars in attendance. Maybe 100? Especially on the West Coast region.

hmmm....true. It was on the west coast but not in a city or even near a city where you would find most of the NSXs on the west coast like Los Angeles, San Francisco or San Diego.......maybe even Seattle.

thanks for posting the pictures :)

It seems Californian NSX owners don't participate in NSXCA events that are outside the state or more than a couple of hours drive.

I had other commitments this year (Lions Club) but have heard that NSXPO 2008 was certainly not lacking in quality and was terrific.

This was my first NSXPO and I had an awesome time. Now that I've been to one, I can definitely say I'll drive pretty far to make another. Toronto may be a bit out of reach, but I'd consider flying out and getting a rental.

I'd definitely drive down to LA, Vegas, etc...you mid to northern CA guys missed out.

We had people that drove from all over the country...it was pretty cool.

You also have to remember that this is an NSXCA event...not everyone is in it.

Kudos to the few Californians that made the relatively short drive, like Steve(whitensxs). For most I think if they set foot out of cali they age tremendously fast, like that movie "lost horizons".Hrant would be miserable if his wrinkles increased:tongue::wink:

Ouch John, et tu Brute? ......... I thought I had my hands full with Ted pouncing on me whenever he sees an oportunity

Frankly, NSXPO 2008 had been on my calendar for months and was looking forward to the drive through Oregon - and I have an old friend that I haven't seen since 1977! But a family emergency has put me on hold for the last several weeks as I had to be available to travel on short notice; compounded with another minor emergency here at home where I had to babysit this last week. But I was there in spirit with some raffle items

When you get hounded by AARP for membership, wrinkles start to matter

Sorry to hear about the problems, but you know how the NE feels about this topic:wink: Maybe we can have a few laughs next year in Toronto.

Was surprised at how few of us made the trek from the Bay Area. Off the top of my head, I think there were only 5-6 of us, including myself.

A good number of us California NSXers drove our cars to NSXPO 2005 in Arizona.

I was on Maui during NSXPO week this year...though I'm not sure I would have gone if I wasn't. I'm not sure how I feel about having someone else pump gas into my NSX. :D
