Nope. Red valve covers are for 3.2L. Pre 3.2L R's have red painted emblem on the intake cover, red stitches, yellow needles, black badge in the taillamps, Recaros and some others. The gauge in that car was replaced.

Question. How were you able to get the car? And are those suede in the car?

AFAIK There are two NSX type R in the UK. Mine an NA1 and the NA2 Honda Press car.

It was a private import before I bought it.

Yes it is suede, the car was custom ordered with a LOT of extras, including AC, Radio, CD Changer and a few performance bits straight from Honda.
