I had an 02 S000 and loved it, but got a 91 NSX black/black as a replacement. A new S2000 would be nice down the road, but only as an addition to the NSX. Both cars are awesome, but as you probably know, the NSX is in a different category in so many ways. Perhaps the newer ones would be a nice refinement (or would it? - the 9000 rpm redline was :biggrin:

We had two S2K's a 2001 Silverstone/Red car and a 2002 Spa Yellow Pearl. We sold the 2001 to get the glass rear window and then sold the 2002 (reluctantly) after my father had a pretty bad stroke. They were both awesome, trouble free, fun cars that I was very bummed to see drive away. I haven't drivein an 04+ with the new "improved" 2.2L motor but I suspect it's no less fun (despite the 1K less on the tach).
Report back after it's broken in (make sure you do that, by the way. I didn't break in my 2001 and it ate oil like a mofo).

Tabasco, if you're planning to be an active part of the S2000 community, this would be a great way to jump right into it. We have a great deal set up for dyno time and special shipping deals from www.hardtopguy.com.
There should be various mods going on all around the house. And lots of refreshments :wink:
Also, I will personally be performing the now-legendary "Top Down While Rolling Mod" on any S2000 who's owner pays my $.22 fee

Nice ride. I'm literally on the fence about buying one myself. Thinking about selling my '01 GSR and getting a new little brother for my NSX. I guess when a nice streak of great weather arrives, I'll change my mind soon.
I was able to "borrow" this Sebring Silver S2000 (same color as my NSX) for a "trial ownership" and it sure looks dandy next to my NSX. It would sleep in the garage to the left.
