My new Oil Extractor

Bought an oil extractor... PIA, especially since you still have to jack up the car to change the filter. It takes 15 minutes to change the oil, but 45 min for the extractor to get all the oil out - plus you have to go out to the garage 4-5 times and move the tube around and restart the suction. AND I still made a mess getting the filter off!

Bought a couple of filters from the closest Acura dealer (30 miles) and next time I am taking the filter and Mobil 1 to the Honda dealer up the street. Anyone want to buy a slightly used oil extractor? :smile:

No thanks, I already have one of those for my boat... Everytime, no matter how careful I am,something goes wrong, and they are slow!

Before you sell it, take note that it can be used for bleeding the brakes with the right sized tubing.

Mine was great for changing my supercharger oil, also, they're good for changing transmission fluid.

Bought an oil extractor...

You would have been better off buying a box of thumbtacks to chew on. Get a Fumoto Valve for your oil changes and Speedbleeders for your brake bleeding chores. Trust me, I know everything. :tongue:
