Traded the bbsc in for the new Brembo's, I got the silver instead of the orange.

I was going for the subtle look, it looks better in person.

Very, very nice :) Are those Prodrive GC-07C rims you have?? What size? I'm thinking you have the 17" and 18" setup but do you know if your setup will fit stock 16" and 17" NSX rims. Thanks.

Yes they are 17 and 18 Prodrives, the Brembo's will not fit the stock wheels due to the off set. The rim would rub on the caliper face. I should have bought the F50 kit as I still have room for a larger rotor.
I wanted the Brembo Indy brakes, but I didn't want to spend 8 grand on them.

I posted in the wrong place as I didn't see this thread.

Anyway, your brembos look amazing!

Love the wheels too!

what are the brembo indy brakes? any pictures of what those look like? the silver looks very nice, subtle, and classy....

Here is the stock rim with the Indy's from Comptech, cost is about 8 grand. I would bet they have some big spacers on them.

Why does brembo use cross drilled brakes vs slotted? Everything I have read says slotted is better for removing heat and does not hurt the strength of the rotor.
Just wondering...

Brembo does it for the same reason Ferrari does, the bling factor. Its what the customer want's, You can get the sloted insted.

I believe that you are getting the setups mixed up, the particular picture that you are referring to is for the Comptech Street - Pro kit that one is listed at $4,600.00 and it fits over the stock 16 inch wheel and uses a 12.4" rotor, it's the kit that docjohn has on his car if I am not mistaken. It does make use of the Indy Caliper from what I recall.

The kit that costs 8K+ is the one that is used by Doug Hayashi of OTC fame on his flamemobile as well as the one that is being used by Kip Olsen on his CTSC NSX. That one requires a 17 inch rim because of the larger rotor.

Edit I found the link: http://www.comptechusa.com/store/420110.html

BTW: The calipers on your kit look like the Lotus calipers from their Gran Turismo kit.

I don't get why the granturismo kit from Brembo does not have bleeder valve accessible on the outside like all the other brembos available.
