Well the car is back to stock dash, the Stack was nice, but I could not get used to it. I changed the RP-01 wheels as they did not really suit the car IMO and fitted a set of BBS S/S- Zero wheels. I could have gone for the NA1 NSX-R wheels but I wanted the benefits of 215/245 width with OEM wheels.

Cheers for the comments lads, I believe that all NA1 NSX-R came with the suede type interior.

AR99NSX's NSX is the real deal NSX-R. You can see the red stitching all over his car. Black Honda emblem on the taillight.

I love the suede interior. Is it factory or aftermarket? I wonder how much something like that costs. Car looks great in and out :)

Your car is hot! I am drooling over the interior.....=p**

Absolutely beautiful. No matter how hard I try to convert my car, it will never be a real "R."

Congrats

Please People... THAT IS A REAL TYPE-R!

No it's not custom
No you can't order it

Yes the suede interior with red stitching is stock from the factory
Yes the matte black center console stock too

Everything in the interior is what you would get STOCK if you had a REAL NSX NA1 Type-R...

Yes even the seats!

Congratulations AR99NSX! Awesome and rare car... Look after her!

PS: I know some of you recognised a Type R when you saw it! I just don't think you said it loud enough because some people still didn't hear you so I had to yell it a bit louder...

Ahh....we always get the raw deal here in the states :(

Is the matte black center console stock too?

Yes it is all stock interior wise.

Well we never got the NSX-R officially here in the UK.

Apparently there is only two in the country, one NA2 that was a press car. I have met the owner, the car was homologated with SRS Airbags but still it is a thing of beauty.

There is my NA1 that was privately imported by the original owner from Japan. Also apparently thre is another NA1, but the last time anyone saw it or heard of it was 1998.

We also have one 1997 Type S, and that car is also has the SRS steering wheel, but the current owner was thinking of getting a Type S steering wheel too.

I think you are the one who deserves to be congratulated for all the hard work you have put into your car. Your car keeps tempting me to do the O2 NSX-R conversion.

Cheers for all the comments,

awesome car...you guys in UK are lucky because you have the steering wheel at the 'wrong' side too

Maybe we can meet us next year at the Nürburgring and
doing our own Nordschleife video.
Maybe a video sequence for Best Motoring.
(That would be a good alternative for us european guys, because SPA is no longer actual)

Looking forward to see your car in real.
