Finally got my new Volk GT-V's on ...

Fronts are 18x7.5" with General Exclaim UHP's 215/35/18
Rears are 19x9.5" with General Exlaim UHP's 275/30/19

I still need to get the tires shined up and adjust the suspension to drop the ride another .5". The car sits higher than the OEM rims which was kind of a surprise to me. But and easy enough fix. :D Enjoy! This thing turns so many heads now its nuts!

GORGEOUS!!! I'm picking up a Midnight blue tomorrow, and have been eyeing those rims...anyone have ps skills?? I'd like to see those rims in bronze or gold, or that work metal buff!!

Thanks for the post - makes me more anxious for my same wheels in matte black to show up :)

Your car looks seriously "raised or lifted" man....did it look lower with the stock rims? Cuz right now if you didn't say so I'd swear you are on stock height?

Yes it was much lower with the 2002 OEM Rims before and yea the car was lowered with my TEIN RE's. I plan on dropping it more (maybe .5") to compensate for the bigger rims. This surprises me though but luckily I have coilovers so this isnt a huge deal. When I got these TEIN RE's they were setup for bigger rims so they were set too low for the OEM Rims... now that I have bigger rims I need to drop it a bit more.

General UHP:eek::eek:

have fun slipping and sliding.

Actually these tires are great for the price. I was not looking to spend $1500 on tires that would only last me 8K miles. Also since it hardly ever rains here, and I dont drive the car in the rain, these tires are for summer / dry conditions so I'm not worried. They are actually very good in the corners! I'm pretty happy with it.

Read some of the reviews on these tires...

Thanks for the props guys! Once I adjust the ride height, it will look perfect!

Car looks great. All you need to do is lower the front 0.5". The rear is sitting fine.

Personally, I'd get a set of sideskirts and the 2002+ rear lower bumper/valance to finish out the look, but otherwise it looks pretty nice.

Heh I plan on lowering it more soon.

And yea I want to start the 2002 conversion as well. But its a choice between starting on the interior or start on the exterior aesthetics...

The only concern I have about side skirts is the lack of ground clearance. So I'd want something that doesnt reduce the ground clearance.

The best part is, the editorial dept at Edmunds wants to do a photo shoot of my NSX with our Black Audi R8 on PCH... That will be fun for sure!:cool:

Oh man, it looks AWESOME!! This is one of my favorite colors!!

thanks man! yea when I first saw the car I wasn't sure about it... but like most colors w/ the NSX it looks different in person than in photos.... amazing paint!

I'd love to see your car in person sometime if possible!! I've never seen it in person yet!
BTW Check your PM:biggrin:

It that in titanium gunmetal? Looks good

yes it is... I was surprised to see that the spokes are matte instead of shiny which is what I expected. BUT I still think it looks good!

congratulations...those wheels look awesome on your car... right size and color... beautifull...

Nice!
Dropping it further, alignment would probably be a bit of a problem especially the rear. Managed to solve mine but still... just. Any comment on the TEIN RE's?

IsR, Yea I like the RE's a lot so far... Although now that I have a stiffer suspension, I think its stressing some of the older rubber parts and making some noise which I still have to diagnose. Again not a big deal but more of a nuisance.

I also plan on getting Thom's camber kit to fix the rear camber issue..

BTW your car is lookin good man! nice choice of rims *ahem* lol
