Hey George,As far as the diffuser I am not sure that can work or not....you can ask john martin or alex....... the body of the muffler does come down at an angle........and from what I know from Jon there is only 3 floating around........2 in Japan and 1 here. The sound is different to me by the gruppe m has a deep throaty meaty sound where the taitec has a higher screaming sound but a nice one.........both are real nice exhausts......the reason why I chose the gruppe me was to be original.......thats why i chose it and the wheels I have on......both are the only to exist in the US.ed
