I posted these in the Canadian section, but I figured I'd post them here as well, this is the second lapping day I've been too, it's the first actual timed event. I was in a group with 2 S2000's and one FD RX-7, I got the fastest time in my group. My friend with his C5 Z06 was over a full second faster though (Me - 1:12:79, Him - 1:11:32).

Next year I'd like to either start modifying my car, especially getting better tires and much lighter rims. I've also been thinking about just buying a cheap AP1 S2000 and making it a dedicated track car so that I still keep my NSX the way I like it, but the NSX seems like it's begging me to race it.

Here's me stalking the S2000's, they kept slowing me down, haha.

This was the group I was in.

My buddies Z06.

This RX-7 was the fastest car of the day, but it was fully built, amazing car.

This Supercharged Mustang kept blowing coolant over the track, after doing it twice he was kicked off. I believe he was running 1:13 or 1:14 for times. It definately had some power in the straights, but I think it lost a lot of time in the corners.

This Carrera 2 was driving by one of the instructors that were helping us newer guys, he took me for a ride and I felt that I learnt a lot, I definately wasn't braking properly into the corners.

And so it begins, welcome to club, I hope your first hit from the Go-Fast-Crack-Pipe does not empty your wallet like it did mine.

I know I definately should be using different rims than the HP Evo's, they are so heavy. If I keep running the NSX I'll find some light alternatives.

I'd still really like to go to the skip barber school someday.
