Wow, great day today. I went to the track with local nsxer Steve and met a few from the TO group :)

The only motion shot I took that turned out decent. This is Steve in his 91 NSX

Overall I had a blast! The track was unbelieveably clean and smooth. Just gorgeous. A lot of blind sweepers, elevation changes, and this one wicked changing radius curve that will kick your ass if you're not careful. The green EG6 civic in the pics lost it there and went into the trap. I have to say though that even though I thought I was doing well, when the seasoned vets came by I got schooled pretty badly. I felt like I was standing still. The 911s that were there were wicked. I also realized I want bigger brakes asap. Fade=bad.

Overall, I had one of the best days of my car life. Its addictive, and I plan to go back in 2 weeks on the 13th.

Awesome that you had a great day.

Ive seen some videos of the track on the bimmer boards; looks great.

Cant wait to drive it next year.

Thanks for the pics!

Dude!
Two problems:
1) Driving from Toronto for two hours of track time = crazy:wink:
2) it gets dark at 6:30!

Answer to your #1: I recall you telling everyone it's better to be on the track than at work! So why were you working Tron?

It did get dark around 6:45. I had my head lights on for the last 15~20 minutes. I don't know how the 24 hr Le Mans drivers do it at such high speeds!!

All in all, it was definitely worth it!

It was cool to meet you Daria!
