I'm looking through some of Honda Motor Company Ltd's legal reports. In the section on principal lines of business, it says that they are in three segments - motorcycles, automobiles, and power products - and the automobile segment has its products listed as "compact cars", "sub-compact cars", and "minivehicles" (none of the models listed in the last category are available in North America).
Here's the kicker: the NSX is listed as a "compact car". Does this look like a "compact car" to you?
