My 96-T Berlina Black Progress!

Had some time today so I took the seats out the NSX cleaned and condition it up as best as I can. Nice and clean again!

Cleaning the door panels, dash, and all top and back panels tomorrow then the seats going back in.
 
:frown:...Took the NSX out for a ride went to the gym to work out. After I was done on the way out got into the car start the car up. This monster truck park next to me just back up turn his wheel to the left and his big monster tires tap my driver door so I hunk the horn he stop. I guess it didn't see me next thing you know he started to back up again so I kept honking the horn finally he stop. He pull forward and park. We both got out the car and I was like you didn't see my car park next to you??? He said he didn't see me. His truck was so high and the NSX is so low it was impossible for him to see me there. We swap info and I took the NSX to the shop to get and estimate to get it fix. Called the guy and he said he's gonna pay out his pocket for it to get fix. I say that's fine. I just want it fix. That's it. Later he call me back and say his just gona go through insurance to have my car fix. I told him that's fine also. Like I said as like as my NSX get fix. It's not really that bad but still. Then again could of been worst too. Anyways...Here is a picture of the damage.

PDR may be able to take that out, as long as it's not on the lines... good luck. (PDR-paintless Dent Repair)

Scuff and scratches probably can get buff out but the dent is on the line so even if I get the dent guy to pull it, it wont be perfect so Ima see if I can get his insurance to pay to repaint the door. Have an appointment with his insurance tomorrow to get an estimate to have it fix. We'll see!

Did you go with the 320mm or 350mm? I have the 320mm and I think its a tad to small. I wish I went with the 350mm.

Momo Tuner steering wheel is up for sale. I decided with the Nardi Steering wheel. If anyone interested in it, its in the for sale thread. Ima go ahead and go with the Nardi steering wheel. :smile:
 
Guy Allstate insurance look at the NSX did an estimate and wrote me a check to have the NSX repair. Drop the car off at the shop today.
 
Damn Texans with their stupid ass trucks [emoji35] I hate those trucks because when their trucks are up so high in a collision they will put a bumper right into your face if you drive a normal car or a sports car. I know we lower our cars maybe 2 inches but when you have your car jacked up several feet above the bumper zone it's way out of spec and dangerous. Not to mention you can't see traffic on your high horse

I recently sold my upgraded "Umbrella VRH Kit" not to long ago and the guy that I sold it too never got the chance to install it on his NSX. I ask him to sell it back to me. He did, I'm going to install in on my NSX when I get it back from the body shop. I'm glad I bought it back. I really didn't want to sell it in the first place. Anyways...

Took it there for some minor repair. Also went ahead and did some rock chip touch up while its there. Side mirror, door handles etc..

Should be getting back sometime next week.:wink:
 
Finally getting the NSX back tomorrow. All they have left to do is to install the key lock, door handles opener, door panel and its ready to go. After I get the NSX back I'ma have to detail the NSX all over again. :frown: NSX is very dusty from being and sitting at the shop. Also I have this new product that Ima use on the NSX to give it a super mirror finish. I detail a Ferrari F355 pass weekend and I use the new product that I got on it and that thing SHINE!

While the NSX was at the shop getting work on I too hit the gym twice a day getting my work on. Went hard for the pass two to three weeks.LOL :eek: :biggrin: :tongue: :wink: :smile:

Anyways- car looks immaculate as always and cant wait to see that lift kit installed!

Was gona buff it, coat it, and install the VRH kit but since it's Chinese New Years I'm wait til the holiday is over before I do that. :biggrin:
