I use a GROM unit to play BlueTooth music over my phone, but I don't want to access my phone to switch tracks. I designed this small holder for an inexpensive Bluetooth unit; it goes in your cigarette lighter to allow very easy RR, pause/play, and FF, as well as volume control, although I prefer to use the volume control on the head unit.
The ashtray lid can still be closed.
It's a friction fit, so a bit of concern with different printers & tolerance. Might have to play with the scaling. Try the holder on its own in the lighter socket first. If the holder gets stuck in the lighter, feed some fishing line through the center "donut" hole and pull it out.
There are 2 "vertical" holes through to pop out the controller if it's too tight to remove easily. If the controller is stuck in in the holder and the holder is stuck in the lighter, loop some string around it 3 times, 1 throw, and you can pull out the adapter.
