Anyone know a good shop that can cut off my stock exhaust tips and weld on some 3.5" ones and have them angle up like the ARC style? Just got the '02 rear, and my tips are lookin small. I'm in Long Beach area.

They don't need to be burnt titanium, Stainless steel would be fine probably even preferred. I'll also be fine with rolled/double walled style tips, just as long as they are slashed and are angled up like these.

you know you can get espelir Ti tips and have it riveted on.

i saw an nsx with Ti tips from an HKS system riveted on a steel system.
looks pretty good.

or why not join me in getting the actual ARC exhaust?
im getting one.
anyone else in?

btw, i saw your car at MV Designz. they put together really nice welds too.
they did a lot of motorcycle mufflers. so they can do your tips if you wanted to go back there.

I'd really like to do the exhaust, but can't afford the $4k price tag right now. I'm trying to do the look on the cheap. Was hoping to get something done for around $100-$200 max.
Mike @ MV told me he could do it, but if he did it custom it would cost me. I wanted to try the off-the-shelf option first.

You can buy a used ARC titanium for around $1200 + perhaps $600 in shipping/fees
Yes, indeed

That is a badass exhaust. There is also GTone F1 titanium going for $1400 with buy it now. That retails $4k. $600 in shipping is too much for that weight.

Around this time you can go and pick it up and come back for around the same price, location is at Chiba, not that far.

Sure thing. If you are not joking around. I will do it for sure, if business class ticket is on you. J/K of course. It take a lot of love to carry something like that. Weight really doesn't matter at all. Hard part is taking a day off to pick up the exhuast, taking train with a huge box looking like a weirdo. Then a little hassle here than there.

How about you come with me. I help you pick it up and buy you a dinner and sake but you do rest of dirty work yourself. The money you saved more than pay for the flight ticket, stay, food. Nice 1 week vacation.

Went down to Cars Muffler in Redondo Beach and had them weld on some tips. Cost was $200 installed. The tips are 3.5" diameter, 12" long, "Black" Stainless Steel (the color is more or less a shadow polished stainless, very nice). I'll try to get a better picture of the actual tips later:
