Moving to San Diego

i'm down that way almost every weekend.
so does the upward ladder movement mean you'll be hanging out in the "nsx's for sale" forum???;)

The upward ladder definitely means sooner then later for an NSX ;) However, gotta save and clean up my credit and flip my sedan. The depreciation curve is levelling off on the sedan and I still owe 2 years on it, so I'm slightly upside down. 6 months to a year and I'll definitely make my move!

I'll be moving to San Diego in 1-2 months.

Sooooo... I'll probably be in the Granite Ridge area off Aero Drive (near the 15S and 52E).

Hmmm, if you're a FRY's freak, you'll be all over that.

BTW, you'll be moving just in time to enjoy beautiful Sunday afternoons with Chargers' game traffic jams. ;)

Hey Randy, thats true. But I plan on living only a couple miles from the office. No commuting for me... the higher the cost of living, the higher I negotiate the offer as it stands. So I need to get down there and look around. How's the cost of living for a nice 1-2 bedroom apt with good parking in the area right around the office off Aero Drive? My cash will continue to go towards my car fund, which has been off to a rough start partying so much.

Sunny, Congrats on the upwardly mobile move, I think you'll love the San Diego area. Gil

Hey Gil, thanks!! I think its going to be a great thing all around. I'm thankful for understanding friends and family (being a small close knit family goes a long way). I can always make it up to LA every other weekend if I need to get in time with my parents or friends. In theory,

I don't know the going price, but the next exit south of that brings you to Friars Road and Mission Valley. AFAIK, that's where rent starts to really go up. (They are developing a lot of dwellings there, however.)

5", it may not be what you think. It might be Monaco Blue Pearl with a sweet 3.2L six speed speed or it might be a Sapphire Blue Metallic XJR. The first choice is an NSX :) Will have to see how committed I am to saving once I make the move. :)

yellow, if you worked in Title/Escrow I could hook you up ;)

i am in the mortgage business so we're someone the similar............now what motivated you to switch from info sys to title/escrow?

I'm still in info sys, but making the hop over to management now and will work info sys/projects for our growing San Diego county branch and satellite offices. They offered a 25% raise and a bigger bonus then I would have received if I stayed as a grunt in Corporate out of our HQ Burbank office. I'll still get overtime too. I can't pass it up. On the fast track now :)
