Hey all,

I just picked up a nice set of leather recaros, which were orginally on a jdm Supra Type RZ.

The seat bottom measures 21" across at the widest point (top edge of seat cushions) the bottom edge (closest to floor) is 17" across.

By comparison, I looked and measured my oem seats as they sit and it looks like they're just under 20" across.

I hope I can use these in my nsx. What seat mounts and slider options are available? I noticed the Taitec ones are $299 ea on SOS. I'm hoping to come up with something more reasonable. Has anyone managed to reuse their stock mounting hardware?

These are the exact seats (the flash makes the pattern look brutal but in real life they are very drak and very subtle).

I recommend purchasing the side mounting brackets from Recaro that match your seat and also buy the slide adjusters (make sure the width accepts your seat). Since the rear mounts are flat, it's relatively easy to get 2 strips of steel (>= 4mm) with 1 bend each for the front mountings. Weld in a cross support (optional), and bolt the slide adjuster to the 2 steel strips.

This should cost around $200.

I hope this helps.
